TranKit is a tool that has been visualized while working on a project for the Central Institute of Indian Languages, the Institute that works for promotion of all Indian languages. The project that started with the goal of developing a tool for the management of translation in around 30 languages, is currently supporting content development in 270 Indian mother tongues.
We are making this tool now open for others to access, use and manage large translation tasks spanning into multiple languages. The TranKit platform is more than just a translation tool. It is a conglomeration of Translation Management portal, translation platform, glossary management, translation memory and machine translation, all put together. This is a cloud-based web platform that can be accessed securely with a browser having internet.

The ticketing system is available to PMs and Admins. Notify your translators, PMs or any specific user about any issue you want them to know about. No need to send emails. Just notify them over ticket system and email goes to them directly. Get responses on the platform itself for better documentation.

CIIL — the Central Institute of Indian Languages — was among TranKit's earliest government partners.
